Artist's words:
all done in Photoshop6.0.1 with wacom FAVO tablet.
It was first a college assignment (topic was Thai art) So.. I painted, photomanipulated, and recomposed the picture. Since there is a Thai DA club I dedicated this picture to the club

This reflects the style of Thai art clearly. The gold statue on the left... I'm not sure what is it really called in Thai language but if it's the male one, we called it Norasing. Norasing is a fantasy creature that has his lower body as wild animal and believe is a protector of forest.

The object at the right is one of the symbols of Thailand, Suphannahong barge (Golden Swan barge). It's a royal barge for the King to travel on Chao Phraya river to do some occasional religious duty. If you remember, it appeared in the symbol of last APEC event in Thailand as well.

On the background, it's the old traditional art style of wooden doors. Mostly this pattern of doors is for temples and royal places.

before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. that way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
